Obscyra is a private messaging app developed by Obscyra Technologies L.L.C-FZ in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The app is focused on private text messaging. Our goal is to provide a calm, premium messaging experience built with security-first principles and designed to minimize exposure.
Information we process
Obscyra has no user accounts. Your identity is a cryptographic key created on your device; we do not collect names, phone numbers, email addresses, or contact lists. We process only the limited information needed to deliver encrypted messages, provide support, protect the service from abuse, troubleshoot technical issues, and comply with applicable legal or platform requirements.
- Encrypted message data relayed between devices. Message content is end-to-end encrypted and cannot be read by us; undelivered packets are deleted automatically, no later than 24 hours after acceptance.
- A push notification token, used solely to wake your device for delivery and stored encrypted at rest. Push notifications never contain message content, sender information, or conversation identifiers.
- Support communications you send to [email protected].
- Limited operational information, such as rate-limiting and abuse-prevention counters, required for reliability and security.
End-to-end encrypted communication
Obscyra is designed around end-to-end encrypted private text communication. This means message content is intended to be protected between participants. We do not describe the service as anonymous, free of operational information, or immune from all forms of risk. Security depends on the full system, user devices, software updates, and operational practices.

Because Obscyra has no accounts and your identity and message history live only on your device, you can delete your data at any time by signing out or deleting the app; this destroys the local data, and we hold no copy to recover. Undelivered encrypted messages on the relay expire automatically within 24 hours.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Obscyra develops, new features are released, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
